On Saturday, Nana planned a special birthday celebration for Reagan and Riley since we would all be there and Gigi and Grandpa were there too! They got the girls some new books and were able to sit and read the books to them! So fun and such great memories for the girls! They got some wonderful presents (which Cooper helped deliver!) , had cupcakes to eat and everyone even wore special Sesame Street hats (the girl's favorites!!!) to celebrate! What a fun night!!!!

Spring Break
We spent the girl's spring break in Kiawah and had a great time! Nana and BopBop were a HUGE help and the girls had so much fun! The weather definitely wasn't "spring" like...but we made the most of it!
The girls had so much fun being spoiled nonstop...and we've only been home a few hours and they're asking to go see BopBop's boat. Hopefully we'll go back again soon!!! Here's a video from one of our trips to visit the boat!

Easter Party at School
Today was the girl's first Easter Party at school. It was adorable in every single way. Unfortunately, it's a rainy day here. The kids all decorate Easter bonnets and parade around the school in front of all of the little kids and the parents. It is precious....but our class didn't participate since it was rainy. We watched the older kids parade around in the rain (and all of the parents were secretly happy that we didn't have to go outside!) and it was just too cute. We'll be in it next year, rain or shine!
But...our class did have our party (really just a big, giant snack) and had fun wearing bunny ears and eating too much. Reagan and Riley love all of their friends in class...but their two best friends are Jack and Nathan. The teachers tell us that Reagan and Nathan always hold hands (see picture below for proof...) and Riley talks about Jack nonstop. The pictures below are getting ready for school, Reagan and Nathan, a picture of Jack, and Riley eating with her friend Charlotte. We've had playdates with both of the boys and I absolutely love their moms too. Anyway...the girls got to dress up in their pretty dresses from Gigi and Grandpa and looked absolutely beautiful if I do say so myself! They are zonked out right now...sleeping peacefully after a fun day at school!

Boosters at Bob's!
We took the girls to Bob Evans this morning for breakfast. It's one of our favorite breakfast places and the girls LOVE it! This morning they sat in booster seats for the first time, and ate their breakfasts all by themselves with big girl forks and everything. Of course I got all teary in the middle of Bob Evans...they are growing up so fast!!!!! Can't believe they'll be 2 in just a couple of weeks. They got compliments from all of the servers for being such well mannered young ladies! Even the manager stopped by to say how well behaved they were. I was so proud! (now if only they could be consistent on that one!!!).

The SLIDE!
This week was our first Grandparent's Day at the girl's school! Nana came and went with the girls. And, of course I forgot my camera and my phone. I'm hoping the school snapped a few pictures and I'll try and get them as soon as I can! It was a really sweet morning as the Grandparent's all went to chapel with their grandkids and sang some songs and then went to a little reception afterwards and had some cookies together! I know that the girls loved having her with them and that they'll love it even more in the years to come when they actually get how special it is!!!!
When Nana arrived at our house on Tuesday, she brought one of the best presents ever!!!! Nana and BopBop found a slide just like the one Laurie and I had when we were little and they bought it for the girls. I swear, they've almost done nothing else since it got here. They are obsessed with it and while it takes up most of the playroom now, it doesn't really matter because that's the only thing they're doing these days (unless Reagan is busy writing letters and drawing pictures for Uncle Mark...she still talks about how much she misses him every single day!) Riley uses the top of the slide as her stage and sings most of her songs up there now...as you'll see in the video! Here are a few different videos of the slide in action...I've had to break the videos apart because my phone won't let me email the file since it's too big, but you'll get the idea!!!

We just got the pictures from when Matt's family was in town! We haven't ordered them yet, but the photographer put them on her blog! I think they are great and captured a beautiful day and a wonderful family! Here is the link to the blog so that you can see a few of them (there were 350...so this is just a sample!!!). The Wheels on the Bus
As the girls get older they are having more and more fun playing together. Matt and I love watching them interact with each other. Yesterday they hopped on top of the diaper boxes (yes, boxes...they wear different sizes so I feel like we are always buying diapers around here!) and pretended to be riding a train. It kept them busy for a good 15 minutes, which in our world is an eternity these days! Last night before bed, they hopped on their schoolbus from Nana Susan and drove it all around the house. No...that is NOT the intended use for it, but they had a blast. The Wheels on the Bus is probably in their top 5 requested songs these days, along with Twinkle Twinkle, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, Row Row Row Your Boat and Trouble by Taylor Swift. (I know...but they LOVE it!!!)
Anyway, here's a video of the activities last night before bed!
