Overdressed but not complaining

Matt has been out of town the past couple of days so the girls and I took a trip to the zoo today. (We early voted yesterday...the lines were so long and the girls were SO good!!!)  We took the pink cars because it's so much easier for them to see the animals that way. Giraffes continue to be the favorite! It was 80 degrees and sunny today. Can you believe it?!?!? I do NOT win any parenting points today...we were all ridiculously overdressed! I just can't seem to figure out this Florida weather yet...I just feel like since it's NOVEMBER we should at least have long sleeves on!?! Not yet...maybe in December!!!

Halloween

We started Halloween a week early this year! The club where we live hosted a Halloween party and we took the girls. It was amazing. They really outdid themselves and the girls had an absolute blast! They played cornhole and golf and had their first lollipop ever! (Yes, they loved it). They got to run around and stay up a little late and the weather couldn't have been any better.

Then, on the actual day of Halloween, they had a big parade at school and then a little party with their class! I had them in and out of their costumes 3 times that day, because we also went trick or treating at Daddy's office! (Yes, they were a HUGE hit!). Trick or Treating was a success in my opinion...we only made it to one house (the picture below is of the girls heading to our neighbor's front door!) but the girls seemed to love being in their costumes!  We practiced saying "Trick or Treat" all day but the only thing they kept saying was "Boo" which was pretty cute if you ask me! We had a great Halloween...can't BELIEVE it's November already. This year has just flown by. Finally a family picture...sort of! They did NOT want to sit still for this one! (And that's our house in the background for those of you who haven't been here to visit!!!)

(Happy Halloween Birthday to my Grandma too...we love you GiGi!!!)
