A visit from Aunt Irma and Uncle Jim

The girls FINALLY got to meet their Great Aunt Irma and Great Uncle Jim from Colorado! They came to Charleston for a visit and came over to meet the girls today and then we went out for lunch. I didn't have to hold a baby the whole time! How nice! It was tough to get a smile out of them during pictures today... so our pictures aren't the best but we're just so happy that they are in town and that we finally got to spend some time together. Now we just need to get together with the rest of the Sturgell clan and we'll be super happy! We're going to be spending as much time with Jim and Irm as we can while they're out in Kiawah...Matt and I are even getting a sitter and meeting them out at dinner at Husk tomorrow night. We've been dying to try it as we've heard SO much about it. I'll let you know what we think!

Helping Daddy and BopBop

My dad came over to do some work for us out back. He is so ridiculously handy. We are SO lucky to have him so close to help us with so many things around the house. He and Matt were outside sawing away and working so hard and the girls just couldn't stop watching and banging on the back door to try and get their attention. It was so cute!

Valentine's Day with Daddy

I had some competition this year for my Valentine! Matt was so sweet and surprised all of us with roses. He wrapped a single rose up for each girl and he even wrote them a card and asked them to "always be his Valentine!". SO ADORABLE. I'm sure they will be! They sure do love their Daddy and so do I!

Lunch date with GG and GG

These cute pics are from our lunch date last week in Hilton Head with GG and GG! We had a blast as usual and the girls even got presents! Great Grandma got the girls some adorable dolls that they haven't stopped playing with! Reagan even says doll (which also sounds exactly like dog and dad...but still it's adorable!) and Riley keeps giving her doll hugs and kisses. The girls each got to read stories with GG and GG too and we had a great time! Can't wait to go for another visit!

Some day they'll hate me for this

Tonight we tried baths TOGETHER for the very first time! It was a success...I ended up completely soaked. We got the tail end on video but they had a blast. We'll do baths together from now on! It was so sweet. We didn't get them interacting on video too much but they absolutely loved being together. It's a lot more work for Matt and me (we have to be SUPER alert...even more so than normal) but it's totally worth it. It was so sweet!
We also tried pudding and watermelon for the first time today (not together!). Thanks for the idea, Mom!! Pudding was also a huge success...watermelon, not so much!

The biggest news to report from the week...
We have 2 crawlers now. Reagan finally decided she was sick of being left in the dust. It is a total circus around here. They both go opposite ways and are moving at warp speed. I'm not sure I sat down today. It is hilarious but so exhausting. Video of that to come if we can ever catch it! Happy weekend everyone!
