We're all moved in!!!!

We've officially been in our new house for 1 week and we are absolutely loving it! It's been a bit crazy around here for the past month I'd say...with getting ready to move, the actual move and now the unpacking part. The girls have handled the whole thing like champs and have settled right back into our normal routine at the new house. They've been big helpers to us and have "helped" unpack and put things away and have "helped" Daddy to hang a few pictures and "helped" Mommy to organize things around the house. They still love playing in the moving boxes and I've found that just one big wardrobe box is good for at least 30 minutes of entertainment! We are now super close to Matt's office, to the YMCA, to the girl's school and future schools and especially to the beach...which is the best! We've met some of the neighbors already and have seen tons of young families around. Once we get settled (and it cools off a bit) I'm sure we'll meet a lot more! A big thanks to my parents for keeping the girls and I for a whole week while we had some work done at the new house before we moved in. We had a great time with them and the girls even got to go to Kamp Kiawah which they're still talking about nonstop. We'd love to have some visitors....plenty of room and the boxes are almost gone! Come on down!!!!

St. Augustine!

The weather was sort of dreary today so when we woke up we decided to be tourists in our own city (or at least, close to our own city) and take the girls to St. Augustine for the day! It's only about 30 minutes from us and there is SO much to do there...and we only did a teeny tiny little bit today but had such a fabulous time! We started off at the Merry Go Round and there was only one other little girl on it with us. The girls thought it was awesome (and it only cost $1!). Right next to the Merry Go Round was a playground so the girls went straight there afterwards and played and played. We then ventured into downtown St. Augustine to find our real reason for the visit...the Pirate Museum! The girls have gotten really into Peter Pan lately and love all things PIRATES! It was the coolest museum. So much to look at...really interactive and the girls loved everything about it! The best part was that when you first walk in and pay for your tickets, they give you a treasure map to follow. You have to find 12 different skull and crossbones throughout the museum and mark them off on your treasure map. If you do it...you become official pirates and get to go into the pirate's treasure chest! The girls loved looking for the clues and each got a beautiful pirate jewel from the treasure chest at the end. It was a really cool museum and we found out that there is even a real pirate ship that you can go on and it takes you around on an actual ride in the water! The seas were too rough today so we didn't do that...but we absolutely need to head back and do it again (and we all think that Cooper has to come with us...he would have LOVED today! and so would Uncle Ron!). We walked around St. Augustine for a bit and had lunch in a treehouse and ice cream for dessert! Then found one more playground and headed back home. It was such a fun Sunday!!!!

Last Day of School!

Well...our summer has officially begun! The girl's last day of school was today and we had a party at school complete with Chick Fil A and cupcakes so they were super happy campers! We had such a fabulous year and they just loved their teachers Miss Janet and Miss Kelly. They had such a sweet little class and I'm so happy that most of them will be together again next year. I can't believe that they'll be in the preschool already next year...they are growing up so stinking fast! Slow down!!!!

Here is a look back to the first day back in August....

Fun with Auntie Liza and Uncle Mark

Uncle Mark and Auntie Liza came down to spend Memorial Day weekend with us! We had way too much fun with them and were so sad when they left! We spent the whole weekend at the beach or in the pool. The girls loved burying Uncle Mark in the sand (Reagan even got buried one time too!) and we just spent pretty much the entire weekend outside! We grilled out on Memorial Day and the girls made S'Mores with Daddy on the grill. They thought it was so fun...Reagan LOVED them and Riley LOVED the chocolate! The weather was beautiful and it was so great to have them here. We just wish they lived closer!!!! Hope everyone else had a great weekend too!

First trip to the dentist!

Reagan and Riley had their first dentist appointment this morning and it went SO great! I'd heard some horror stories from some friends of mine about their kids kicking and screaming and hating every second of it...but we did NOT have that problem. They seemingly loved every minute of it. The dentist's name is Dr. Fishman and as we pulled in, there was a huge fish on the side of the building brushing its teeth and they thought that was just about the funniest thing they'd ever seen. The waiting room is full of aquariums and bubble machines and they could have spent an hour just watching all of the fish! Riley went first and she did ask that I hold her hand, but we had no tears and she did an awesome job. The dental hygienist was so nice and there was a tv on the ceiling which they thought was just amazing. They said her teeth look great and that she's doing a great job brushing! Reagan was a hit and kept telling everyone that walked by just how brave she was and that she was there to make sure her teeth don't turn yellow. Ha! Where does she get this stuff?!?!? She also did an amazing job...no tears and her teeth look great. They even flossed her teeth...they said her teeth were a little more crowded than Riley's but still look perfect! The girls got to pick a prize out of the treasure box (Riley chose a "diamond" ring and Reagan chose a pirate eye patch!)! Huge hit. We'll go back every 6 months. So...until November, I can check the dentist off of their list! So proud of my big, brave girls!!!

The beach, THE PLAYERS and Mother's Day!

What a weekend!!!! We had so much fun with Laurie, Cooper and Nathan! The kids played and played and played and just had such a great time together. They loved to run around on the beach and swam and swam and swam and swam some more. Such little fishies!!! On Saturday afternoon (after a full morning at the beach!) we had a sitter come and the grownups went to the the golf tournament! We had a blast...it was such a beautiful day! Then on Sunday morning (MOTHER'S DAY!!!) we all went to Bob Evans for breakfast (of course) before they hit the road to go home. After Cooper left we took the girls back to the tournament again and they had a ball. They were so good and once again, really loved the lemonade and shuttle ride the best! I was spoiled all day long and got home made cards and bookmarks and a super pretty necklace and then we went back to the beach and the pool for a bit The girls wanted to try out their giraffe floats that they'd gotten in their stockings at Christmas. I had hidden them...and they found them. Ha! Then we came home and Matt grilled out and it was just the perfect end to a perfect weekend! Happy Mother's Day to our beautiful moms and  sisters and aunts and grandmas and to all of the other moms out there too!

Reagan and Riley do THE PLAYERS Championship!

Yesterday morning I took the girls to their first ever, PLAYERS tournament! We are so lucky that Matt works for the PGA Tour because we get to do it in style and everything is SO easy for us. We parked our car and a shuttle picked us up right at our car and took us directly to the clubhouse and dropped us off out front. We get to use the bathrooms in the clubhouse (huge bonus now that the girls are potty trained) and everything is just so much easier. The girls thought it was so fun...but their favorite part was the lemonade and the shuttle ride. Ha!! Wish I was kidding. We got to see J.B. Holmes who won last week at Quail Hollow and it was special because the girls have made friends at the pool this week with his caddy's son! We walked a bit and then they got hot and we left...but it was so fun and I can't wait to be able to make this a yearly thing with them as they get older. Such a beautiful tournament and place to live! Laurie, Nathan and Cooper are here to do the tournament with us this weekend (no kids though...we got a sitter for them!). We'll do a lot of beach and pool and we can't wait! More pics to come!
