Mid-week fun

My grandparents were out in Kiawah this week and so we took the girls out yesterday to play with their GG and GG! They gave the girls their early birthday presents, we had dinner together at my parent's place and then we all went out to lunch today! It was so great to spend time with them again. The last time we saw them Reagan had just started to crawl, so I think that they were amazed with just how BUSY these two are now! We had a great little getaway and feel so blessed to have my grandparents close enough that we can see them so often! If only we lived closer to GG and GG Sturgell too! We'll get up to Michigan sometime soon to see them and we can't wait for that day! Another great week for the Iofredos!

ICE CREAM

Whenever we're with the grandparents they encourage us to try something new with R and R! Last night in Kiawah was no exception...and R and R were SO happy with this one! The girls tried ice cream for the first time last night (just vanilla) and they gave it two thumbs up! (Notice that GG is the one feeding Riley!) We're glad that we have our parents to get us to try new things...it's easy to just get stuck in the same rut of apples, bananas, carrots etc....The girls also had chicken, grits and bread today so we're hoping they have full bellies and sleep really well!

Our new wheels

Reagan and Riley got their birthday present from us a little bit early! These are a HUGE...I mean HUGE hit. They giggle and scream and love cruising around the neighborhood. We look absolutely hilarious...people drive by in their cars just laughing and smiling when they see us. I would too...how cute are these two!?!

Mommy's Little Helpers

Look at how easy folding laundry is around here....takes me about an hour if these two are involved, but it sure is cute!

Saying bye

I took this video last week while out on a walk (please ignore my ridiculously annoying voice) and thought it was pretty cute!!!

We're 11 months old today

We had such a great day!!!! I still can't believe I have 11 month old little girls. They are so much fun!!!! Uncle Ron and Aunt Conni came over and played with the girls, gave them early birthday presents and then took us all out to lunch! It was so wonderful to see them again. The girls love them so much (and I think the feelings are mutual!). After lunch the girls came back and Ron and Conni pushed them in the swing...which they LOVE. After Ron and Conni drove away the girls just stood at the front door for the longest time looking out the window. They better hurry up and come back soon!
At 11 months these two are just amazing. They laugh and smile all of the time. They wave at everyone. They say "bye" on occasion and say mama and dada all of the time. They are walking on all of the furniture by pulling along on it. Riley even walked a few steps when we were in Atlanta by pushing a basket across the floor. They are into EVERYTHING. Nothing is safe around here. Our house looks pretty ridiculous because everything is just piled on top of furniture...can't have much close to the floor anymore unless they can play with it. They love playing in our closet for some reason and think it's hilarious when we chase them while they're crawling. They laugh together and tackle each other and are just the two happiest babies I've ever known. The past 11 months have mostly been a blur, I'll be honest. I can't believe how fast the time is going but every single day seems better and more fun than the day before so I just can't wait to see what's next.

Road trip to Atlanta

The girls and I left Matt at home for the weekend and went to finally visit my parents and Aunt Laurie, Uncle Nathan and Cooper in Atlanta! We had a fantastic time...and the girls did so well that I'm thinking we can just start taking trips more often! Ha!
Cousin Cooper was so great with "the babies" and shared all of his choo-choos with them. We went shopping, out to breakfast and dinner and the girls even tried grits for the first time. Reagan LOVED them...Riley thought that they were just ok. It was a wonderful time and while we missed having Matt with us he had a nice, quiet and relaxing weekend at home (don't worry...I left a HUGE list of things to do for him so that he wouldn't feel TOO relaxed!).
